I feel much stronger now
At age 74 I sustained a back injury. Two slipped discs in my lower back caused me a lot of pain and rendered me unable to walk upright. I couldn’t even take out the garbage. Aside from the momentary suffering and the weakness and the numbness in my left leg, I was in a crisis that was even more severe. I had envisioned starting into my Golden Years by taking a motorcycle ride all the way to Alaska, and see the beauty of our continent close-up. I now needed walking sticks to even go to the nearby coffee shop. I was well aware of the usual surgical procedures, including the implanting of metal rods into my lower back. A very sobering alternative to my original travel plans. That’s when I discovered Network Chiropractic and Doctor Bruce. I freely admit that I do not fully understand the way this method works But I have to say that it is literally getting me back on my feet. From walking around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and expecting a continuing worsening of my health and of my overall prospects for the “Golden Years”, Dr. Bruce’s gentle touch on my back and neck are restoring me in a sustained fashion to a level of functioning I did not dare to dream about. I am now able to walk for miles up and down hills in my neighborhood, and also for miles barefoot on the ocean beach (and no one would notice I had a problem). I am very excited about the progress I am making and very grateful to Dr Bruce for guiding me through this healing journey. It is not just that I feel much stronger now and again increasingly confident in my physical abilities. It is more than that. My entire outlook on my future is being restored. For me, this is an invaluable motivating factor and is additionally helping my progress.
A final word: if it is Dr Bruce’s calling in life to help people with back problems to get well again, he is doing a very good job of it. Thank you, Dr Bruce!
